It’s important to keep the tree well watered before it goes in the ground too. The tree in the video is wilting because the root ball is bone dry!
It is recommended that burlap be completely removed
It is also advisable to almost “bareroot” a potted tree (especially trees and shrubs from Lowes or Home Depot!). Many of these plants are often in their containers for so long they start to circle and tangle one another and the plants don’t root and establish properly.
Reuse as much of the native soil as possible and avoid applying synthetic fertilizers during planting. It’s simply unnecessary. Use a good organic mulch like woodchips.
Do you plant trees too?I usually plant 2 times in a week:)
Hello Hungary! From Texas.
Sorry.I wanted to value you up.You are absolutely right,I buy from our little nursery. And from that i make a wood.Greetings from Hungary!
Do not buy your trees from big massers like Lowe’s. Get natives from your local nursery please! Support your locals for the future.
