www.RedWormComposting.com Presents – My attempt at rejuvenating a philodendron plant I gave to my wife as a Valentine’s Day gift last year. When I purchased it, the plant had a bunch of beautiful red, heart-shaped inflorescences, and it appeared very healthy in general. Since then it has gradually gone downhill due to partial neglect. One of my earliest (and most exciting) experiences with vermicompost involved the addition of some vermicompost to a small Monstera plant (and the subsequent growth to a rather LARGE Monstera plant), so I’m hopeful I will see similar results here. The vermicompost used is the material I harvested recently from my Worm Inn (see Part VI of the Worm Inn Vermicomposting series of videos)

I have some house plants that could probably benefit form compost but I’ve become compost greedy haha compost tea will be all they get! I look forward to seeing your results!
@TheCompostGuy many thanks.
i know……….the new yt isn’t nearly as user friendly.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
So the term “less is more” can apply for how much vermicompost you add to your plants?
I will send you a direct msg, fatpius
I keep trying to post a comment and it vanishes every time. Really annoying!
Yeah, I’ve never really understood the concept myself!
I don’t like cut flowers either, I get so sad when they die! I love getting plants instead!
harvesting in your hanging wormbin looks very practical. mine is in the plastic
container, so, do you have a video about how to harvest compost from that?
and, approximately how frequently can you harvest. I started out w/1 # of worms
about 3 months ago, and see many babies. Also, if you could do a real close up
of worm ‘eggs’, so I can avoid putting them in with my plants.
Thanks!!!
