In early July 2010, Merillat’s favorite chef, Curtis Stone, hit the morning TV and radio airwaves with one message: Merillat’s functional accessories make life in the kitchen easier. The interviews took place at a studio in Los Angeles and were broadcast through satellite to news morning shows across the country in top markets like LA, Sacramento, Denver and San Antonio. During these interviews, Curtis made a crab mozzarella salad while demonstrating different functional features that can make life in the kitchen easier, including Merillat’s cutting board kit, deep drawer peg divider, double base waste basket and recycle bin, and SoftAction drawers.
