www.spiewakconsulting.com – A simple photo slide show of an early design renovation that resulted in an exemplary urban condo. This is one of my favorite projects as it was a true “design/build” in every sense of the term. From concept to completion, nearly every aspect of the project was executed by yours truly (Christopher-Spiewak). Through the earliest design and detail, to custom building the cabinetry from hand selected mahogany, to rough framing, plumbing, electrical, A/C, to finish tile, paint and fixture installation. Every cut, every screw, every coat of lacquer was a labor of love down to the last detail. I’m not sure if or when I’ll ever have the opportunity to be so directly involved (hands on) with a design project again but I’ll carry this one proudly in my heart for a long time to come.
