Misting a plant with water raises the humidity for about 12 seconds.
spray bottles dont work! i use a very good nosle with the backyard hose! do it in the morning babe only! let it dry out!
First, you would be surprise that some novices don’t think to do this. It seems simple, but we all learned about these tricks somewhere. Second, I have used windex bottles for years with no issue. The smell might still be there, but there is not enough of the product to make any impact. I would not reuse a bottle that had a harsh chemical however.
I wouldn’t use a windex bottle for mosting even when I’ve washed it out. Even after washing, bottles like that still have residual chemicals. For proof of this, just smell the bottle. The chemicals that leach into the water after a while could harm the plants.
