hey i live in the USA and i just got my VFT i feed it ants and flys by hand. i feed them alive. i keep mine inside. in washington state we always get rain and no sun most of the time. so i just keep my eye on it. any ideas? i keepmine in an open window
A cephalotus is the Australian pitcher plant. They are small in size. I am also a Sarracenia owner but I also own a Nepenthes. In total, I own 16 carnivorous plants. Most were Lowe’s rescues, though some were from Wal-Mart. You must see the plants at my local Wal-Mart. They are horridly abused and like you said most people are idiots when it comes to care, I highly agree.

@1983SMOGGY if its in one of those death cubes, thats a death sentence! also they are not tropical plants and when it is winter in the uk make sure it goes dormant ( aka stops growing a bit and gets cold temps) also repot it in spaghnum moss. i know a grower in the uk so yes keep them outside. check out piranhaboy on youtube he will know more about the uk than me but yes put it outside. a window sill is a death sentence also. they LOVE direct sun. i grow mine in full sun all the time. outside.
- so is it best to keep them outside in the uk? because on the label it says not direct sunlight, so i just keep mine on the windowsill in the sunlight !!!!!!!!

and also, everyone. i was using a new vft that i just got on this vid. so it looks ugly! its in a bigger pot now. im going to try to make it get nice and healthy like my other ones
